Just say no, it was terrible.
And I say this having been this musical's biggest fan since I was eight. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were truly, truly atrocious singers. Still heart you both, though.

Ahh yes, a good old story of bloody murder and meat pies, all set to music... seems the perfect thing for an 8 year old child... *coughs*
Perhaps you're just horrified that Johnny and Helena are not indeed Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury wearing masks and singing the same way you heard it when you were 8.
